Performance Controls

In a small update for XFM2 I implemented Performance Controls.

Those are four controls, which react to MIDI CC 70~73, and can be assigned to any synthesizer or effect parameter, in each program, for more expressive performances.

The user manual was also updated to reflect the changes.

The A7 is quite stuffed as of now. When designing for commercial projects, it’s a common rule to stop the design when the utilization reaches about 80%.

XFM2 is at 99% now. The toolchain building times skyrocket on that condition, as providing timing closure has to be done with too many area constrains. It somehow feels like wasting all that 1% 🙂
