Excel spreadsheet hanging?

I have got a few reports indicating that the Excel spreadsheet hangs when entering a value or hitting a command button.

Apparently, some Excel versions (or Windows versions, I’m still not sure) don’t properly clear the serial buffer when opening a COM port. As the CMOD will send a ‘00’ on power-on, if the buffer isn’t cleared, the spreadsheet will hang waiting for the response codes.

If you are experiencing this issue, just:

1- Open RealTerm, power XFM2, open the port and type ‘d’ as to get the program dump (and clear the buffer)
2- Close RealTerm
3- Open Excel and try the spreadsheet again

I’ll find a fix for this in next update.
